December Community Sing-a-Long
Join as singers and musicians to bring holiday cheer to retirement communities, assisted-living facilities, and memory-care units in the East Valley.
What to know: Just show up and sing! Wear something festive (even that ugly Christmas sweater!) and arrive at the scheduled time. We'll provide you with a book of your favorite holiday songs and carols. Some carols have parts, but you can always sing the melody! Our Director of Music, Charles, will accompany everyone on piano.
Where to meet: The Park at Copper Creek. Meet in the lobby at 4PM--sing during dinner from 4:30PM-5:15PM

The details:

TheALEogy
Topic: ELCA Social statement on Civic Faith and Life-Mark Engel: TheALEogy provides an opportunity for church members and friends to gather weekly at a restaurant to openly and safely discuss how faith intersects with current world topics and personal interest areas. We gather every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Mimi's Cafe off the Loop 101 and Chandler Blvd. Topics are thoughtfully suggested by attendees and discussed in the spirit of fellowship and respect.

Fall Book Club
Every Monday at 8am join us via Zoom for Fall Book Club. We're currently discussing, The Tears of Things.
You can listen to a conversation with the author and others about each chapter in this book by tuning into season four of the Apple podcast titled, Everything Belongs: Living the Teachings of Richard Rohr Forward.

Music Rehearsals

Bells Beyond Christmas
Join us for a fabulous evening of Christmas music with the spotlight on handbells! This concert features three an ensembles, Holy Trinity's Handbell Choir, Saint Matthew's Episcopal Churches Handbell Choir, and Bells Beyond. You'll hear your favorite sacred and secular carols along with a sing-along of Silent Night.
