Have you ever wondered how Lutheran Christians understand the Bible? If so, then you will

be interested in being part of a new adult study and discussion group led by Pastor Bernie. This

five session study, which will be held each Thursday evening at 6:30 pm beginning on APRIL

30 and continuing to MAY 28, will help you understand how Lutherans view the Bible. Some

of the topics to be discussed will include:

• What should we expect when we read the Bible?

• What is the difference between “inspiration” and “inerrancy”?

• Why was the Bible written?

• Is the Bible “true”?

• How does history and context shape the written words contained in the Bible?

Each class session will be held both in-person in the CLC Youth Room. If you wish to be

Borderlands is a program that allows you to receive up to 70 lbs. of rescued produce for only $17. Holy Trinity is proud to be one of the many host locations throughout Arizona. You can participate in this special ministry several ways.

1. Volunteer to work an event - join us to sort and package the produce in preparation for our supporters starting at 4am April - October, 5 am November -March. Volunteers who serve four hours or more take home 70 lbs. of produce. To volunteer go to: I want to volunteer!

2. Stop by the day of the event, pay $17 and receive up to 70lbs. of fresh vegetables and fruit. Be sure to follow the signs for the drive through.

3. Register in advance by donating $17 and reserving your 70 lbs. fresh vegetables and fruit through the Drive Up Take Away (DUTA) option. Pick up your order in a separate line off of Flint Street. Topic: Artificial Intelligence

 TheALEogy provides an opportunity for church members and friends to gather weekly at a restaurant to openly and safely discuss how faith intersects with current world topics and personal interest areas. We gather every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at our new location, LaFamiglia Pizza and Pasta at 1859 W. Guadalupe Road in Mesa. Topics are thoughtfully suggested by attendees and discussed in the spirit of fellowship and respect.

The Fifth Sunday donation drive this month is dedicated to helping our neighbors at Hartford Elementary (a few blocks from HTLC). We're collecting uniforms, socks, shoes and snacks for the 2026 school year which begins in July. Want to help? Below is a breakdown of what we need. 

Items needed:

Socks and shoes needed: pre-k thru 6th grade sizes 13, 1, 2, and 3.
Polo shirts: red, white and navy mostly sizes 5, 6, and 7. Khaki or black shorts/pants: mostly 5, 6, and 7. We need snacks too...granola bars, goldfish crackers, Cheez-Its or fruit snacks.

We are so excited to partner this year with the non-profit Chandler Children's Choir to offer our community a very special week-long, reduced-cost summer camp of music, games, arts, and activities. Registration is NOW OPEN. There are scholarships available for those with financial need.
